On 3 December 2011, Teri and a number of comrades took part in an 8-mile mud run called the Grim Challenge, raising £789 for Racehorse Rescue Centre, Parity & ActionAid. Money was also raised for Help for Heroes by the other teams.
Teri's friend Laura was initially the comrade for this challenge but unfortunately (though maybe not for Laura!) she injured her ankle before the Grim and was unable to take part.
The Grim track covered just over 8-miles and was based in an army vehicle area, held over the Army’s vehicle testing tracks so the terrain is interesting! It’s tough but they know we wouldn’t want it any other way and 6,500 nutters in 2011 are proof of that.
Before the challenge - nice and clean and raring to go! After the Grim - very tired and very muddy!
