Minimoon in Devon
On the Sunday afternoon following the wedding, Teri and Matt headed to Bath for a night. They ate at Jamie's Italian and spent the night in a hotel on the outskirts of the city. Monday was spent visiting the Roman Baths and eating ice creams before driving down to a little cottage in the middle of nowhere in Devon.

The little cottage was small and very cute, surrounded by fields (and next to a stableyard!). It was a bit upside-down, so the upstairs was a lounge and dining table, with a small kitchen, bedroom and toilet downstairs. |
The first day in Devon, Tuesday, Teri and Matt visited a horse and carriage museum, and then made a trip to the little cliff village called Clovelly, stopping at Hartland Point for a short walk on the way back.
On Wednesday, they spent most of the day walking. They visited the white lady waterfall in Lydford Gorge, drove across Dartmoor and persuaded a pony not to get in the car with them, and then visited Okehampton Castle, where they stumbled across a very rare butterfly!
Thursday was a sunny day, so Teri and Matt headed to Woolacombe beach. Forgetting to take sun lotion meant Teri was very sunburnt by the time they got back to the cottage, so they enjoyed a night in with a BBQ and playing scrabble!
On Friday, on the way to Bristol, Teri and Matt stopped off at Lynton and Lynmouth so Teri could have her cream tea! They reached the hotel in Bristol and went for a night on the town together to end the minimoon (or so they thought!).
